The mission of Belknap House is to provide families in Belknap County safe shelter when children are especially at-risk during homelessness; to empower families to become self-sufficient and independent by providing them with opportunities for education and access to community resources.

Annual Online Auction

We are excited to be hosting our annual Online Auction Fundraiser from April 6-10, 2026. We anticipate over 50 unique gifts to auction off and the funds raised will go toward continuing our mission of providing children with safe shelter and empowering parents to become independent through comprehensive case management and educational programming. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of families in need, and we are proud of the strides we have made in achieving this goal.

To make this fundraiser as exciting and meaningful as we hope, we need your help! Please consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise or services to help us raise money to better serve the children and families in need at Belknap House.

Thank you in advance for considering our request and for supporting Belknap House and our mission.

In October, The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation chose Belknap House as the 2023 She Change Award recipient! The award was given at the annual Women Building Community Luncheon held by the foundation in Manchester. Our former Executive Director, Executive Assistant, and two board members attended on behalf of Belknap House to accept the award.

The She Change Award is given to an innovative and impactful organization that inspires and engages its community and works to enhance life for women, girls, and gender-expansive people. The award consists of a generous $10,000 grant and afforded our former Executive Director Paula Ferenc the opportunity to address the Women Building Community Luncheon about our work at Belknap House.

We cannot express how incredible it was to address the crowd at the Luncheon and chat with fellow change-makers from across the state about housing and economic stability for women and children. All of the organizations in attendance do incredible work and we are so honored to be a part of the Women's Foundation community!
