Become a Belknap House Volunteer!

We rely upon the generosity and talents of our volunteers whose contributions strengthen and expand the services that we provide families.  Assisting with childcare, participating in a game/activity night for children, helping a resident fill out an application, painting a room, a piece of furniture, or driving a family in the shelter van to an appointment, our volunteers play a vital role in helping families to become independent and self-sufficient.

Belknap House offers its volunteers the opportunity to share their talents in meaningful ways.

Each volunteer’s schedule is designed to accommodate the amount that an individual has to offer. Whether it is two hours a month or several hours a week that a volunteer has to offer, we will gladly accept that person’s gift of time and service.
