Board Member Position

​Belknap House is looking for board members that can spend 6-10 hours a month devoted to Belknap House and have a specialty area that can help round out the board's expertise.   The specialty areas we are most in need of now are: Marketing/PR, CPA skills, or legal. 

Here is the general process for anyone that might be interested:

Interview with the current president via phone or zoom.  The interview usually takes about 30 minutes.

  1. Tour Belknap House and meet with our Shelter-Program Manager, Tom.

  2. Become familiar with Belknap House by reading the annual report and newsletters

  3. Attend 3 board meetings as a guest

  4. At the 4th board meeting, receive an approval vote of current board members.
